About Megan

Megan is a coffee-obsessed music lover born and raised in Abilene, TX. After graduating from Abilene High School in 2009, she entered Abilene Christian University. Five years and four majors later, she graduated from ACU in May 2014 with a BFA in Graphic Design and spent six years working as a graphic designer and art director. One day she woke up and decided teaching would be a nice change of pace, so she earned her certification and began teaching high school digital art in Allen, TX, where she is currently employed

Megan has loved her many opportunities to travel around the world to exotic places such as Tallinn, Budapest, Florence, Kiev, Prague, Berlin, and Marfa and loves getting to experience other cultures and build relationships with others despite language barriers. She also has a love for playing violin, hiking, and carbs, but is not particularly fond of tomatoes or reality television. Megan currently lives in McKinney, TX with her mini poodle mix, Bennett.
