SafeEats is an app created to help those with food allergies, along with their friends and families, feel more at ease when dining out at restaurants. The function that makes this app unlike any of its kind is that a user's profile can be shared with other users, such as a babysitter, grandparent, or spouse, so that everyone can feel comfortable. The app was designed to be intuitive so that anyone, including teenagers and senior citizens, can easily tell what dishes are safe and which are not. The app is also designed so that users can "favorite" dishes that they have tried before.
